OK, we’re down with protein shakes and have read all the fit-lit about amino acids and muscle synthesis, sustainable energy, bone loss prevention, immune system bolsterer, muscle strengthener/toner, joint supporter, exercise recovery and lean body mass holder-onto-er.

Banana Bread Protein Shake


2 scoops whey protein

1 banana

1/2 c cooked oatmeal

3/4 c bran flakes

1 bottle of water

Sweetener to taste


Mix it all together and quaff. Add ice or refrigerate for 5-10 minutes before enjoying. Namaste, bae.
